Brest · 22 October 1943

A convoy under protection.

Münsterland and her close escort left Brest on 22 October. Five German torpedo boats followed to provide an outer screen, protecting the convoy’s coastal passage.

This German naval account comes from a British intelligence report compiled after the war from captured records.
